Every song can have performance notes attached which can be viewed when selecting a song in the Song Select screen or when using Full Screen mode - all you have to do is press N and your notes will appear.
To add notes to a song press the Notes icon in the toolbar:
The Song Notes editor window will appear ready for text input - up to 500 characters can be entered.
Any notes you type will be saved with the song.
